Some islands are senseless, lost into the deepness of the ocean

Some words, like whispers in the wind,

fading into the echoes of others,

known blends into the unknown, a mosaic of memories too faint to love

 

It was enough to fall, but not enough to rise again,

lost in the shuffle of forgotten falls,

instincts denied, love buried,  beneath layers of time,

melting down like childhood memories buried down into the sand.

 

The toddler never learned to run, chained by freedom's constraints,

skill-less in a world demanding mastery,

waiting for the day when chains unbind,

when breath becomes free air,  

and morning dew brushes off, like it used to.

 

Before growing up, before life's demands became too loud,

 I used to run in the rain, find solace on a bicycle,

falling while chased by dogs,

embracing rain, mud & pain.

 

Now, checking doors for sanity, overcoming trivial ticks,

while productivity demands my life,
